I would like to let you know of the return to the international art world of artist John Palliser after 15 years of absence, you may remember his controversial work from the 80’s Award winning John Palliser grew up surrounded by art in fact his return is dedicated to his late father H.H Palliser a renowned Norfolk Artist, he has spent a lifetime developing his eye, and his unique style.  
Artist John Palliser was born in England, after a career in Military & Security Services he started painting in earnest. He is passionate about his work and a true patriot. He believes wherever you hail from on this Great Island there is in every proud British person the beating heart of a lion. Supported by the Fire of the Dragon, The Blade of the Claymore, we are the defenders of the faith & encapsulate the very meaning of honour, truth, chivalry, and fair play. Those who would do us harm will see the very best of us. They will know that the British lion has very sharp teeth! He believes that there is very much a place for art in politics & that true honour & Patriotism  comes through the family first, by leading by example, not from central governments who’ s vested interests always come first.
John started painting professionally in the 80s he took the Queens shilling and for the next nine years found himself serving as non commissioned officer in the British Army around the world. In Germany during the cold war and on active service in the troubles in Northern Ireland. During this time he had contact with official war artists and it was not long before, capturing his own experiences in paint. Over the years he has perfected his style of combining both classical and the modern but always reflecting the ongoing clash between the religions of the east & west the eastern cultures interpretation is often corrupted by backward thinking extremes who wish to use religion for their own ends. Western cultures prominent Christian beliefs & values being more positive peaceful therefore stronger and will ultimately flourish, although because of our liberal and open cultures not easily or widely embraced in favour of materialistic values. He came to notice in the mid 80’s with his controversial Exhibition depicting his own divorce despite legal attempts to ban it the exhibition was a great success he worked in the Midlands painting Murals, painting canal boats, being recognized by the Duke of Buccleuch.
However in the 90’s He dropped out of the limelight for a simple quite life by the sea fishing and chilling out? In his own words he said” if he had been anymore laid back he would have fell over “
His work has also been featured by the BBC & he was part of a documentary on Framingham sea defence campain in North Norfolk filmed for channel 4.
The death of his father and his patriotic passion  have returned with a vengeance he is even more edgy and determined and is producing some great work for his “Crusades collection” there are already Exhibitions planned for 2012 in Durham and possibly Newcastle this year  and we are currently planning  & selecting venues for Spain , France, USA, in 2012.
