Fertility & Adoption Conference Coming to IL

ORLANDO Fla., May 10, 2011 – Empowering the Journey is the theme this summer when A Family of My Own (AFOMO) comes to the Chicago area on Saturday, August 13, 2011, for a one-day infertility and adoption conference that promises to touch lives.

A Family of My Own (AFOMO) will be the conference that will include local and nationally recognized, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors to those wanting to become parents. The event features educational seminars dealing with topics such as third party and surrogate services, starting the adoption process and how to prepare your body to have a baby through holistic treatments. The day will also include a time for Q & A as well as demonstration classes for acupuncture and yoga in addition to a home study workshop.

“Our goal is to provide a comfortable environment where people will have face-time with the physicians, agencies and experts with the knowledge about issues dealing with adoption and medically assisted programs,” said Preya Shivdat, director and founder of A Family of My Own.
