Tsunami drill at Millennium Resort Patong Phuket

May 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Phuket, Thailand – April, 2011 – Millennium Resort Patong Phuket (MRPP) arranged a Tsunami warning and evacuation drill on April 18th.Peter D. Gibbons, General Manager said “These regular exercises aim at enhancing the skills of our staff in commanding, controlling and handling any unforeseen disasters and will help to mitigate any casualties”. The Tsunami warning and evacuation drill focused on evacuating people to a designated safe ground as well as assist potentially wounded people. The management conducts these exercises on a regular basis as it is very important to ensure that the employees and guests will continue to remain safe, whilst working or spending time at the resort.
