  CONVENIENCE FOR CAREGIVERS AND THE DISABLED

Individuals with physical disabilities oftentimes have trouble with routine tasks and needs . This proves to be very frustrating for them, adding stress to the already painful task of functioning in the every day world . The life of the caregiver is impacted as well , just the simple task of using bathroom facilities , toilet , bath and or shower or just moving from the bed to a chair becomes a back breaking job .
Ken Nordin’s brother , Larry Nordin , suffered with ALS . Of course the more debilitated Larry became the harder it became for his wife to care for him . Ken wanted to make life easier for Larry and his wife . A rented cherry picker type unit was tried but proved unstable and hard to move . After searching medical supply companies and speaking with medical professionals Ken found there was nothing available to ease the situation . A few days of thought produced the miracle of the “Larry Lift” saving all that frustration and injury for both the patient and the caregiver . It is easily moved and adapted to any situation or facility . It can be shortened or lengthened at will , kept mobile or made stationary to meet every need . It is light weight and easily stored , assembled or disassembled . An offer to purchase the patent was turned down because it would not have been made available to the public , those who need it most . We have decided that by producing the “Larry Lift” ourselves we can help the people who are really in need . Care homes , Rehabilitation Facilities and family members caring for their loved ones . We know what it is like ! The “Larry lift” will help to restore some quality living to those struggling with disabling disease and speed up recovery for those needing rehabilitation . This is what Larry desired . We want to carry out his desire , to help those in need .
