(Kingston, Jamaica) Easy going Reggae artiste, Easi B has released yet another single on his independent label Yumojah Records.  The song entitled, ‘why’ is released for digital download and available on CD Baby queuing for all other digital stores such as Itunes, Amazon, Napster and all etailers worldwide.

Easi B achieved a definitive accolade in his music career in 2002 when his single ‘Blackman’s History’ on the Potential label became a hit in the UK.  The song held the number one spot for six weeks on the Choice FM Top 20 Reggae Chart and peaked at number 3 on the Echoes Reggae Chart.

The following year 2007, Easi B decided to form his own independent label, Yumojah Records and since then released a gospel album entitled ‘The Rebirth of Easi B’ and singles ‘Pay Back Time,’ ‘Buss Now’ and ‘It Hard.

Cow Foot Goes to Toronto!

Dancehall fans in Toronto, Canada will get chance to ‘soak up’ their portion of Macka Diamond’s ‘Cow Foot’ when she introduces the growing popular track to them.  The event date is May 13, held at the Home Nite Club; other featured performances includes Mr. Lex and Ward 21. Macka is also booked to perform in Edmonton and Vancouver May 14th and 15th where the promoter expects favourable support and cites that, “the shows are causing a big hype in both cities.’

On her return to Jamaica, Macka looks forward to hanging with fans at the weekly, social interactive, ‘Cow Foot’ inspired, series of events.  These events are as follows Cow Foot Fridays held at Comfort Zone in Christian Penn, Portmore, Footing (Foot-In) Mondays held in Waltham Park, Kingston, Cow Foot Sundays held off Spanish Town Road and Mi Foot Thursday in Old Harbour

Popular Reggae single ‘A Nuh So Mi Waan Live’ written and recorded by conscious Reggae artiste Nesbeth remains the Top 18 Reggae song in the Caribbean as reflected on the Caribbean Top 30 Caribbean Hits Reggae/Soca/Dancehall Chart compiled by Shanty Vibes Radio. The song which still holds the #2 spot on OutaRoad Weekly Top Reggae Chart is still #12 Stampede Street Top 15 Reggae Chart and #6 on DJ Gusma Top 20 Reggae Singles Chart. Now current singles by Nesbeth that are in rotation on local stations are ‘Too Much’ and ‘Friend for Sale.”

Stevie Face ‘Caan Go Roun’ track on the Run Run riddim produced by Sting Ray Records  is still #4 this week on DJ Gusma Top 20 Reggae (Italy) Chart. Locally, “Thank You for Loving Me’ still holds the #8 position on Stampede Street Chart,  #19 on Chris Coxson’s New Style Radio Top 10 Reggae Chart, #17 on Jamaica Music Countdown Reggae Top 25 Reggae and #9 OutaRoad Weekly Top Ten Reggae.

Veteran Dancehall artiste Macka Diamond seems to have found two tracks that are favourable among Dancehall fans.  Both tracks have hit Stampede Street Top 20 Dancehall Chart, “Cow Foot” @#5 and “Too Much Bull” @#12 and understandably so, as the trends attract the attention of both popular male and female Dancers.

Sophia Squire’s ‘Nature’ holds the #14 position on Stampede Street Chart, while Cush Hunta, “Tenament Yaad” holds the #15 spot. Sophia Brown “Lovers Rock” take a bow slipping off the South Florida Top 25 Reggae Singles Chart.   Reggae Vibes Top 50 Albums Recommendations for the month of April still reflects the Familiar Roots Riddim compilation album produced by Kleva Roots Production holding the #37 spot.
