Marine Creative is now FocusLocal

According to Brian Marine, FocusLocal’s owner & manager, the change was made because of the company’s new focus on social media, mobile marketing, and local online marketing.

“It is clear” Mr. Marine says, “that SMBs and small business owners need to concentrate more time, effort and resources on their local online marketing presence. With the numerous recent changes Google, Bing and Yahoo have made to their ranking algorithms, and with increased emphasis on localization and use of mobile phones by consumers to do research and shop locally, we have changed our ‘focus’ as well with new services for our small business clients.”

FocusLocal has partnered with a number of large, experienced companies that provide some of the technology behind these services, including Axciom, goMobi, OpenSRS, InfoGroup and Localeze.

“We have spent a  great deal of time and effort to research and find the right technology partners so that we can offer the most effective online marketing services to our small business customers, all at a competitive price” Mr. Marine said.

FocusLocal’s development team will also continue to provide their core web design services, as Marine Creative has done in the past, but now with a new emphasis on developing Wordpress CMS sites for its customers, which Mr. Marine believes offers better SEO capability and more functionality and flexibility with its huge number of available plug-ins to handle various tasks.
