QAD Unveils Business Intelligence and Groundbreaking Advancements to its Software Delivery Methods

Tony Winter, chief technology officer for QAD, opened the conference with a broad view of the QAD technology architecture. He then explained how technological changes, globalization, and other advances in manufacturing are driving new integration requirements and creating greater innovation and opportunities for business process enhancement and better access to data.  

Winter also delivered groundbreaking news when he unveiled a prototype of the QAD Store, a new, online, self-service delivery method for customers to procure QAD applications, upgrades, short cuts, and more, slated to go live later this year.

Rob Cramer, director, Business Intelligence at QAD, followed Winter’s presentation with an introduction to the latest evolution of QAD Business Intelligence (BI). BI version 3.4 continues QAD’s drive to integrate more modules for analysis and is an improved portal for better data exploration and multi-language support.
