Deadly Diversions by Ronald M. Bullock - Now Available

May 10, 2011 - PRLog -- While troubling weather crosses the North of England, housewife Jenny Sylvester is at home watching TV with her eldest daughter Christine. Jackie her youngest, is in bed. Late into the evening, the doorbell rings; when Jenny opens the door she is surprised to find one of her husband Mack's work colleagues standing there. After asking him in she learns that Mack, a night trunk driver for English-Scottish, is heading up the North to Scotland at that very moment in appalling weather and the tractor unit he is driving has defective brakes. The race is on to try to stop him before he gets into the mountains!

Mack has a bedridden niece who lives on a farm in the mountains in the North of England. It is her birthday and Mack has a present for her, he is determined to deliver it to her no matter what the weather, but in doing so, he is caught up in a horrifying life-threatening situation. When the call comes through at the depot in Aldridge that Mack is seriously injured Jenny begs the boss of English-Scottish, John Trevelon, to take her to her man. He relents and does as she asks, but when she gets to the scene, she realizes that to save her Mack, she also has to lay her life on the line.
