Strategic Book Group’s CEO Speaks at London Book Fair

May 10, 2011 - PRLog -- LONDON – May 10, 2011 –  Robert Fletcher, CEO of  Strategic Book Publishing and Rights Agency, travelled to England last month to attend the London Book Fair. Strategic’s booth represented the work of nearly four hundred authors, a great number of whom attended in person as well. Mr. Fletcher anticipates from ten to as many as twenty deals coming to fruition from the show, with foreign rights sales to countries from Egypt to Mexico.

Although SBG is a relatively new force in the publishing world, they are making their presence known, participating in book expositions from China this past winter to Abu Dhabi and Bologna earlier this spring.

“With the globalization of the industry,” said Mr. Fletcher, “we feel it is imperative to come out and represent our authors in the world markets. As a publisher, this is a growing part of our role, and we are excited to give our authors these new opportunities for foreign sales. We are taking more books, and more authors, to each show.”

SBG will attend the New York Book Expo in May.
