New Site Extension Clothe Connection Int'l website- Garment Links

May 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Clothes Connection Int'l are proud to announce a new extension to its website, a no ad based, specialized garment directory, http://www.ccintlbd.com/directory/. The directory will remain free to anyone who wishes to list and will accept categories and listings related to the garment industry only.

Unlike other directories, the primary aim is to provide the visitors of CCI with useful links which will also feature many of CCI's competitors. It will nevertheless offer all the other benefits of directory listings for those who wish to submit.

Clothes Connection Int'l, http://www.ccintlbd.com, is a garment sourcing house situated in Bangladesh who have been on the web for 7 years, but it was not until August 2010 that it  decided to take a major presence in the search engines.

Presently the site can be found on the first pages of the major search engines with hundreds of keyword phrases and in some cases with more than one listing and ,albeit in a very small number, even a full sweep of the top ten results. Major search engines include google, bing, yahoo.

The site also includes a section for stocklots - http://www.ccintlbd.com/blog/, which is another major business for CCI.

One of the striking differences that you will find as soon as you visit the website is the striking colours. The website works best with modern browsers such as  firefox 4.0, IE9, Opera 10., Chrome and Safari. It works differently with IE8, IE7, IE6 and does not work on IE5 at all.

The striking colours may be distracting to some, but according to Alexa, the ranking is climbing rapidly, but most importantly the average time spent for visitors is approximately 34 minutes and climbing. Such a high attention suggests that the colours are not as distracting as it was originally feared.

The colours and design were very deliberate to take advantage and display of newer technologies such as transparency, multiple backgrounds and many other features whilst showcasing the business.

A couple of CMSs have been used, but originally the design was different for each of the sites. CCI are very happy to add that this problem has been resolved and that all the sites are now very much the same and that this has added a navigation advantage.
