WindHorse Entertainment in Development on ICELANDGIRL

May 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA (MAY 1, 2011) Windhorse Entertainment, LLC. established in Los Angeles, is in development on the project ICELANDGIRL created by Allasigga Jonsdottir.  WindHorse Entertainment and Allasigga Jonsdottir entered into a joint venture agreement, to develop, produce, and arrange for the financing, exploitation, and distribution of the Project and all rights therein. The children program has multiple ancillary opportunities and once fully developed will include a screenplay or screenplays, television series, additional characters, books and other merchandising derivative products.  

The story about a 13-year old girl who turns into an environmental superhero with magical powers after getting struck by a volcanic rock and goes about helping others around the world with her hilarious dysfunctional friends was created by Allasigga Jonsdottir, originally from Iceland and now living in Los Angeles.  The project is currently under development with a first book and the screenplay for the feature film.  A television series is also planned, with multiple episodes about the adventures of ICELANDGIRL around the world.  WindHorse Entertainment headed by Dominique Luchart will produce the project with Allasigga Jonsdottir under ICELANDGIRL LLC.  The first book is headed for publication in June 2011.
