May 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Irvine, Calif.: Reazon Systems, Inc., an award-winning education technology innovator and the maker of iRubric, announced today that it has introduced two special cloud versions of iRubric-for-Sakai: a light version named "iRubric Click2Grade" and a comprehensive version called "iRubric Outcomes".  The cloud version introduces Sakai-using institutions to iRubric’s expansive functionalities which are scalable based on their needs and usage. The cloud version will be priced per user as compared to per schools’ FTE for the Enterprise version of iRubric-for-Sakai.

“Sakai users have been asking us for a light version of iRubric for basic grading and for introducing a culture of rubric assessments to their institutions. In response, we have made iRubric-for-Sakai available in two flavors in the cloud," said Ramesh Sabetiashraf, CEO of Reazon Systems, Inc.  “We are proud to be a contributing factor in our clients’ instructional and institutional success. We believe the new cloud version of iRubric will fulfill a wider range of needs in their assessment process.”

The two cloud versions are:

-iRubric Click2Grade:  This version is focused on iRubric’s popular rubric building, sharing and grading functionalities. This version is better suited for Sakai institutions that only need iRubric for grading within Sakai gradebook while giving them the option to expand to the iRubric Outcomes version in the future when needed.

-iRubric Outcomes:  This version offers institutions the institutional tools to align rubrics with standards and outcomes, generate real-time reports using the analytics engine as well as manage programs, reporting permissions, and the extensive outcomes repository.

In addition, iRubric-for-Sakai Enterprise edition is available to K-12 and Higher Education through a variety of flexible licensing and hosting options, designed to meet the needs of a wide range of organizational sizes.  For an overview of iRubric-for-Sakai, including a short video clip that highlights the Click2Grade functionality, visit
