Madison County Ford and Local Community to Raise as much as $6,000 for Madison Central High School

May 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Richmond, KY – Madison County Ford is bringing Ford Motor Company’s innovative Drive One 4 UR School program to the Richmond community in an effort to raise up to $6,000 for Madison Central High School. For every person who test-drives a Ford vehicle at Madison Central High School on May 7, Madison County Ford and Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the Madison Central High School Chorus.

“We know how important extracurricular activities are to our high school students, and as part of this community, we want to help,” said Doug Cheek, General Manager at Madison County Ford. “This is why we’re excited to raise money for the Madison Central High School Chorus, meanwhile introducing parents, teenagers and other drivers to our high-quality lineup and innovative safety technologies.” The event, which will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., will feature the Ford Explorer, Focus, Fiesta, Edge, F-150, Mustang or other available models.

Since the start of Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School program in 2007, more than 275,000 test-drives at more than 1,500 events have generated over $5 million in donations for high schools nationwide. Locally, Madison County Ford is participating in their first Ford Drive One 4 UR School event and is excited to raise up to $6,000 for Madison Central High School.

To participate, please visit Madison Central High School between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on May 7.

Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household.
