Karma Balm Gifted at 32nd Annual Sports Emmy® Awards

Karma Balm is the realization of a vision by Corey Calaio, Founder and CEO (Creative Epic Optimist), recently joined by Alison Caruso, Totally Creative Strategist. This two-person whirlwind of a company is passionate about their products and loves what they do. Corey is a Certified Herbalist that has formulated each of Karma Balm’s therapeutic skin care products and Alison has extensive marketing and operational skills, which makes for a perfect combination for this Women Owned Business. The company and its owners reside in Bethlehem, NH, a Village of 2,200 located in heart of the White Mountains.

Karma Balm continually strives to improve their products, their community and their environment. They are already making their mark, having been chosen as a case study at the 2010 Stonyfield Entrepreneurial Institute led by Gary Hirshberg of Stonyfield Yogurt. “Our vision is to have an eco-friendly manufacturing facility that will provide jobs and a positive impact on our hometown” stated Calaio. Caruso added, “It’s something special to be part of an ethical company that produces an amazing natural product”. The ceremony was held on May 2, 2011 at Rose Hall, in Lincoln Center, New York City. Calaio and Caruso were among the 800 guests in attendance, each departing with an Official Emmy Gift Bag filled with Karma Balm and other unique products.

NFL Legend Al Michaels receiving the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award this year, and The Academy had a very strong NFL showing where gifts with good karma were undoubtedly appreciated.
