Putting Energy Efficiency on the Agenda at National Housing Exhibition
Mark Group, the UK’s leading installer of energy saving solutions will be taking a stand at the annual Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) exhibition in Harrogate next month (21 – 23 June 2011).
By: Mark Group Ltd
Andy MacPherson, Mark Group Sales Director, said: “The CIH exhibition is a landmark date on the social housing calendar and with energy efficiency high on the agenda for many organisations working in this sector, Mark Group has a key role to play.”
Mark Group’s exhibition stand will provide information on a variety of energy saving measures including cavity wall, solid wall and loft insulation as well as the latest options for renewable technologies. They will also have experienced staff on hand to assist with choosing the most appropriate energy saving measure to suit differing types of housing stock and differing needs of tenants, whilst achieving a balance between initial investment and environmental return.
“One of the key areas we will be focussing on at this year’s event will be helping delegates access the various funding options available, to help improve the energy efficiency of their housing stock,” Andy continued. “Finance is all too often seen as a barrier but as we will explain on our stand, we have successfully secured funding for organisations throughout the UK, across a range of energy saving measures and scales of projects.”
Mark Group’s recent social housing success stories include the installation of external wall insulation measures at over 200 properties for Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, 70 solar hot water systems for East Dunbartonshire District Council and cavity wall insulation measures for over 7,000 properties for Wandsworth Borough Council.
