May 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Buffalo Ford shoppers can find the new 2012 Ford Focus at West Herr Ford.  The 2012 Ford Focus is a versatile and convenient car that’s packed with features to impress any Buffalo Ford fan.

The Focus has some of the best fuel economy in its class, making it the perfect antidote to today’s rising gas prices.  On the SFE trim, it gets 28 mpg city and an impressive 40 mpg highway.  The engine isn’t a hybrid; it’s a 2.0-liter I4 that generates 160 horsepower and 149 pound-feet of torque.

Built To Please Buffalo Ford Drivers

The 2012 Ford Focus comes equipped with a variety of features for comfort, convenience, and safety.  The new Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) automatically adjusts to deliver precise responses at high speed and optimal maneuverability at slower speeds when needed.  Its Pull-Drift Compensation technology constantly measures the driver’s steering input, adapts to changing road conditions and helps compensate for slight directional shifts caused by factors such as uneven road surfaces or steady crosswinds.  The end result is enhanced responsiveness and an overall superior driving experience.

It also comes with the SYNC system.  SYNC with Traffic, Directions & Information leverages industry-leading voice-recognition software, integrated GPS technology and drivers’ Bluetooth®-capable mobile phone.  SYNC’s new applications provide simple hands-free access to personalized traffic reports, precise turn-by-turn driving directions, and up-to-date information including business listings, news, sports, and weather.  It even automatically calls 911 on a paired mobile phone if an accident occurs in which the airbag is deployed.  Please note that this feature is only activated when a phone has properly paired with the SYNC system using the available Bluetooth option.

The 2012 Ford Focus also uses Ford’s unique MyKey system.  MyKey is designed for parents of teenage drivers who want to keep their child’s driving habits in check.  MyKey can limit the speed of the car, disable the sound system if seatbelts are not in use, limit the sound volume to a pre-determined maximum, and sounding a persistent chime when the car reaches 45, 55, and 65 miles per hour.  The MyKey system allows the parent to program any key through the vehicle message center, which updates the SecuriLock Passive Anti-Theft System.  When the MyKey is inserted into the ignition, the system reads the transponder chip in the key and immediately identifies the MyKey code, which enables certain default driving modes.
