On April 28, 2011, at the Corporate Philanthropy Summit presented by Wells Fargo, Furia Rubel was honored with three awards for service including a Top In-Kind Donor Award, a Top Volunteer Donor Award and a Top Community Impact Award.

Agency owner, Gina F. Rubel, Esq. said, “I was moved to tears by these awards because they truly reflect our social mission and culture of inclusion.” She said, “Philanthropy, individual giving and social responsibility are among the core values of our agency and staff. Entering their 10th year of business in 2012, Furia Rubel encourages all staff to participate in worthy causes. The agency supports up to three pro bono clients annually. In 2009, Furia Rubel donated more than 1,000 hours of service, $2,826 in cash contributions and more than $250,000 in-kind to community and nonprofit organizations including Twilight Wish Foundation, MAMA Project, Women's Resource Center and Deep Run Mennonite Church East. The Philadelphia Business Journal has also named the agency one of the Philadelphia region’s top 25 public relations firms.

The Philadelphia Business Journal's Corporate Philanthropy Summit brings together the region's leading business and civic leaders to share insight about the work that makes the Philadelphia region a great place to work and live. The emcee was FOX 29 News Anchor Lauren Cohn. A keynote was delivered by Gerry Lenfest, founder of Lenfest Communications, Inc., and co-founder of The Lenfest Foundation.
