PC Health Advisor a Finalist for VIATeC Product of the Year

May 4, 2011 - PRLog -- ParetoLogic’s PC Health Advisor has been named a finalist for VIATeC’s 2011 Product of the Year award. The Victoria Advanced Technology Council presents the award to a Greater Victoria company that has achieved success in the commercialization of an innovative technology product. PC Health Advisor, the all-in-one computer utility, is in good company as the Greater Victoria tech industry continues to grow and develop exciting new technologies.

“We are delighted that PC Health Advisor has reached the finalist stage,” said Norman Eldridge, ParetoLogic's Product Manager. “Our customers have been putting their own votes in over the past year, with downloads and sales, and it’s wonderful to see our success recognized within the industry.”

PC Health Advisor is ParetoLogic’s latest software product, and was launched just one year ago. In that time, PC Health Advisor became one of ParetoLogic’s top products.  Typically, Product of the Year nominees are established products with three years of sales data. However, PC Health Advisor’s rapid and sizeable market impact cinched the product’s nomination.

The program itself maintains ParetoLogic’s customer-focused reputation, providing user-friendly tools with the technology to back them up. The main scan cleans the Windows registry, updates drivers, scans for malware, and removes temporary and junk files. “Aside from the main scan, we also give users a number of additional tools, including a disk defragmenter, file extension helper, duplicate file finder, and Windows setting optimizer. Our goal is to give PC users everything they need to ensure the ongoing performance of their system,” explained Mr. Eldridge.

The VIATeC Product of the Year is awarded to a Greater Victoria business which achieved notable success with a technology product. Success is measured by commercialization and market acceptance, and available sales figures for finalists will be taken into account.

The VIATeC awards are on June 2nd, a must-see event for all in the Victoria tech industry.
