Glamorous camping (glamping) has come to the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales

May 4, 2011 - PRLog -- With Carnguwch and the Eifl (Rivals) mountains as its backdrop, a truly unique and memorable experience awaits you. Surrounded by a maze of quiet county lanes and footpaths, this is a ramblers’ and cyclists’ paradise......there is not only a 2-mile long farm path/nature trail, but there are even bicycles provided for you!  Within a 15 minute drive of some of Lleyn’s most beautiful beaches, and with trout fishing in the river Erch a few yards from your dome, this is an unmissable and unforgettable experience.
Situated sufficiently far apart to ensure privacy, both domes are ideal for couples and families alike.  The Carnguwch dome is in a secluded area by the river, where the only sound you’ll hear will be the river, sheep and birdsong, whereas the Eifl dome could be more suited for families with younger children as it is more convenient for the kitchen/toilet/shower block, and is safely gated off from the river.  Inside each dome there is wooden floor, hand-crafted, bespoke wooden double bed (with storage underneath), two single futons, a wind up radio, wind-up lanterns, lamps, a wood burning stove, quality, hand made Welsh blankets, and candles and tea-lights to help create that romantic ambience.  Pots and pans, cutlery and crockery, logs/firewood are all provided as are duvets and bed linen for the double beds - please bring sleeping bags for the futons.

Outside each dome there is a decked area with fire pit, barbecue, picnic table, and folding chairs.  The amenity block is a stones throw away from the Eifl dome and has modern showers, a flush toilet, hot water, charging facilities for mobiles/laptops etc, and a free Wi-Fi connection.  There is also a simple kitchen/diner with fridge/freezer should the weather take a turn for the worse.  There is also a second toilet in the form of a composting toilet, away from the main block, and primarily intended for the use of the Carnguwch dome.  On your arrival you will be presented with a welcome hamper of local produce and a wheelbarrow to transport your luggage from the car parking area.  You are also encouraged to collect your own eggs for breakfast.  No pets allowed.
