Whitesburg, Ga.  May 3, 2011 - The ultimate outdoor destination in Georgia, Historic Banning Mills, has just opened another eco-canopy zip line tour, the Ridge Runners, the latest extension of its 35-plus zip line collection. The zip line runs along and over a natural ridge and through a tunnel of trees at heart-pounding speeds upwards of 70 mph for an almost mile-long adrenaline rush.

The Ridge Runners Tour is included in the ALL-DAY RUSH package during which zip line participants experience eight hours of zip lines and sky bridges, including the Screaming Eagle and the Terminator Corner, the extreme Aerial Challenge course.

“The Ridge Runners are one of the most exhilarating zip line tours we’ve created yet,” said Historic Banning Mills founder Mike Holder. “The height and depth of this line, coupled with the ridges and tree tunnels, makes this the most extreme zip line excursion in the country.”
