Multop Financial Presents Exciting Opportunity for Whatcom Area Kids

May 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Multop Financial, on behalf of the Michael Koenen Foundation, is pleased to announce the third annual Michael Koenen All-Star NFL Football Kids Camp is coming to Ferndale, WA on June 25, 2011.  

Atlanta Falcons punter and former Ferndale High and WWU graduate, Michael Koenen, will host a free, non-contact football camp for all kids in 3rd through 8th grade.  Current and former NFL stars participate with Koenen as camp leaders, trainers and role models during this event; a great opportunity for kids to have one-on-one time with their sports heroes. Tyler Ryan of Multop Financial explains, “Putting on a free football camp is Michael’s way of giving back to the community where his NFL dream began.  We want kids to become successful on and off the field, which is why we provide a safe and healthy environment where participants can not only learn the fundamentals of football, but have the opportunity to develop personally and socially through the application of athletics.”

Last September, the camp was selected by the local community to be awarded a $10,000 grant as part of the Walton Beverage & Whatcom Community Foundation Local Pepsi Refresh Project.  With the success of last year coupled with the support shown by the community, this year’s camp is expected to be even better.
