Sunbury Press Bestseller List for April 2011 - Beagles running loose!

May 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Lemoyne, PA - Sunbury Press, Inc. has released its bestseller list for the month of April, 2011. Year-to-date sales are more than four times last year's sales for the same period. Non-fiction titles performed very well.

"Beagle Tales", a recently  released short story compilation by Bob Ford about his experiences with his beloved pets and hunting companions, debuted at the top spot. Second place was captured by David Reimer's "Micro-Distilleries in the US and Canada: 2011 Edition".  Third place went to Milo Thornberry's "Fireproof Moth: A Missionary in Taiwan's White Terror".

Following are the top sellers by category:

History / Genealogy - "Fireproof Moth" by Milo Thornberry
Fiction  - "All Aboard for Murder" - by R. T. Ray
Poetry - "Roadman" by Stefan May
Children's - "Boo, Bat and Pumpkin Throw a Party" by Ashley Lucas
The Arts - "Dark Arts 2011: Dark Surrealists Fine Art Contest"  
Self-Help - "A Young Adult's Guide to Safety in the Digital Age" by Jeff Sechler
Metaphysical - "Messages from Beyond: A Spiritual Guidebook" by Michele Livingston

Non-Fiction titles claimed 7 of the top 10, including the top 3 spots. Approximately 80% of Sunbury's sales have been non-fiction titles this month.

eBook formats (Kindle, Nook) rose 15% last month, though trade paperbacks remain the overwhelming format preferred by Sunbury customers, accounting for over 95% of the company's sales.
