Sexton Ford of Morgan County and Local Community to Raise as much as $6,000 for Schools

April 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Wartburg, TN – Sexton Ford of Morgan County is bringing Ford Motor Company’s innovative Drive One 4 UR School program to Morgan County in an effort to raise up to $6,000 for Morgan County high schools. For every person who test-drives a Ford vehicle at Sexton Ford of Morgan County on April 30, Sexton Ford of Morgan County and Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to Morgan County high schools.

“We know how important extracurricular activities are to our high school students, and as part of this community, we want to help,” said Elizabeth Beard, Dealer at Sexton Ford of Morgan County. “This is why we’re excited to raise money for Morgan County high schools, meanwhile introducing parents, teenagers and other drivers to our high-quality lineup and innovative safety technologies.” The event, which will be held from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, will feature the Ford Explorer, Focus, Fiesta, Edge, F-150, Mustang or other available models.

Since the start of Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School program in 2007, more than 275,000 test-drives at more than 1,500 events have generated over $5 million in donations for high schools nationwide. Locally, Sexton Ford of Morgan County has participated in Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School program four times and raised over $18,000 for local high schools.

Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household.
