Mt. Orab Ford and Local Community to Raise as much as $6,000 for Western Brown High School

April 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Mt. Orab, OH – Mt. Orab Ford is bringing Ford Motor Company’s innovative Drive One 4 UR School program to the Mt. Orab community in an effort to raise up to $6,000 for Western Brown High School. For every person who test-drives a Ford vehicle at Mt. Orab Ford on April 30, Mt. Orab Ford and Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the FFA, athletics and band programs.

“We know how important extracurricular activities are to our high school students, and as part of this community, we want to help,” said Gerald Gabbard, President at Mt. Orab Ford. “This is why we’re excited to raise money for the FFA, athletics and band programs, meanwhile introducing parents, teenagers and other drivers to our high-quality lineup and innovative safety technologies.” The event, which will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, will feature the Ford Explorer, Focus, Fiesta, Edge, F-150, Mustang or other available models.

Since the start of Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School program in 2007, more than 275,000 test-drives at more than 1,500 events have generated over $5 million in donations for high schools nationwide. Locally, Mt. Orab Ford has participated in Ford’s Drive One 4 UR School program for six times and raised over $15,000 for local schools.

Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household.
