Girls Empowerment Workshop for Teens

NEW ORLEANS, LA.- High Voltage, Inc., The Loop of Confidence, InspireMe and the Kiwanis Club of Pontchartrain invite you to join us for a day of empowerment, where outer beauty meets inner strength. The day of empowerment will be held on Saturday, May 21st, at the Sojourner Truth Neighborhood Center, 2200 Lafitte Street from 10:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M.
Guest speakers include: Ms. Ann Bernard, Mrs. Gaynell Ellis-Conner, Mrs. Gwendolyn Hughes Paige, and Ms. Ayla Exposé. Ms. Bernard will introduce participants to the significance and benefits of developing true and impeccable self-confidence. She will also teach our participants the steps they need to take to develop their self-confidence.
Mrs. Gaynell Ellis-Conner and Mrs. Gwendolyn Hughes Paige with the Intergenerational Guidance Group will present an advanced Swagger session. Participants will learn the basics of social etiquette, beauty and hygiene. Ms. Expose will present a session on acceptance and anti-bullying.
