Women's Council of Realtors May 16 Fashion Show to Benefit Two Local Charities

The Women's Council of Reators, Empire Chapter, presents its Spring Luncheon & Fashion Show at the New York Athletic Club in Pelham, NY on May 16. A portion of the proceeds will benefit two Westchester charities. The event is open to the public.

April 27, 2011 - PRLog -- The Westchester Putnam Association of REALTORS®(WPAR)  and the Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR) are inviting all to attend a Fashion Show & Luncheon on Monday, May 16  at the New York Athletic Club in Pelham, NY.   Registration begins at 11:00 a.m., followed by the Social Hour from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  The show begins promptly at 12:30 p.m.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and Homeless, as well as Grace Church Community Center.

The Fashion Show will feature professional wear and business casual fashions from Bloomingdales in White Plains, and will be modeled by the WPAR’s and WCR’s very own members and sponsors.  The admission price is $60 per person.  Some fantastic prizes will also be raffled.

The Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and Homeless, Inc. is a comprised of autonomous food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, service organizations and individuals interested in alleviating hunger and homelessness in the region

Grace Church Community Center is a community-based organization whose mission is to assist Westchester County’s neediest and most at-risk residents.  It is one of the largest social services agencies in Westchester and has been providing shelter and support for individuals and families for over 27 years.  

The Westchester Putnam Association of REALTORS® Inc. is a not-for-profit trade association representing over 7,000 real estate professionals doing business in Westchester County and the surrounding region.  It's predecessor organizations, the Westchester County Board of REALTORS®, Inc. and Putnam County Association of REALTORS® Inc., were founded in 1916 and 1923 respectively.
