Goodwill’s (http://www.goodwillswfl.org) Annual Awards Luncheon is a celebration of the nonprofit agency’s top achievers, graduates, and supporters in the community.  This year’s Luncheon will be held on Friday, May 6 at the Harborside Event Center in the Fort Myers River District (1375 Monroe Street).

“The people that Goodwill helps have disabilities and other disadvantages that could keep them from achieving their dreams,” explains Kirsten O’Donnell, Goodwill spokeswoman.  “Every year, we look for a speaker who will inspire our guests and show them that success is always attainable.  Jason hasn’t just overcome the obstacles in his path to success, he’s soared over them.”

In 1992, a boating accident near Matlacha claimed Gunter’s right hand and his left leg below the knee.
