ZeroEnergy Design Wins Boston Green Business Award Mayor Thomas M. Menino recognized the winners of the 2011 Green Awards at a recognition event held at Atlantic Wharf hosted by former business award winner Boston Properties. Both business and residential leaders were honored by the City for their sustainability achievements. ZeroEnergy Design’s unique team of professionals were recognized by the City of Boston for providing the services of green architecture and high performance mechanical design. Representatives of the firm present to accept the award from Mayor Menino included Adam Prince, Business Development Principal, Jamie Maloney, Designer, Stephanie Horowitz AIA, Managing Director, and Ben Uyeda, Designer. Horowitz commented, “We’re thrilled to receive this award from the City of Boston, and will continue to make energy efficiency beautiful through residential architecture.” The new award follows a year replete with awards for the firm, including Best of Boston 2011 – Best Green Architect, a Grand Award from the EcoHome Design Awards, and a Citation for Sustainability from the Boston Society of Architects.
