By: Haag-Streit UK It boasts a 160GB hard drive, enabling the storage of thousands of images, whilst the low-power LED flash helps to ensure patient comfort. The DRS supports single or multiple field acquisition, providing seven different standards within a 45° field. Single-button operation enables the DRS to automatically detect the patient, self-align to the patient’s eye, focus on the retina, adjust the flash level and capture and store a high-quality image in less than 30 seconds per eye. Images can be stored directly onto the DRS system or a USB memory stick, printed, or transmitted to another PC or network via the integrated Wi-Fi and Ethernet connection.
