April 26, 2011 - PRLog -- San Antonio, Texas - "BOOK, the series" aka “A Book By Its Cover” to Film Second Show in Series. The television pilot project “A Book by Its Cover” was initiated in San Antonio just last year, and the project is still thriving with plans for a second episode on the horizon. According to Executive Producer / Director Brad Milne, Episode 2 titled “The Parallel View,” has plans to shoot this summer. The second episode will deal with cyber bullying and its potentially tragic effects as the shows’ lead character David and the family of his girlfriend Sarah deal with a seemingly and inescapable barrage of senseless and destructive bullying.

As part of the project, The SAFA - San Antonio Film Academy will conduct an acting, filmmaking and producing summer bootcamps as it casts, coaches and prepares its key and supporting roles for the new episode. Students will have the opportunity to learn in a real-world film making environment while shooting “The Parallel View”.

Acting students of the SAFA have been quickly becoming known to San Antonio production community with students booking roles on numerous South Texas productions during fall and winter, more on this at http://www.safilmacademy.com. SAFA participants learn a dynamic multi-disciplinary approach to the acting craft that empowers them to consistently find the most authentic route to discovering and developing rich and dimensional characters.

In an effort to help fund the upcoming project, “By The Book Films” and strategic non-profit partner, The Community Sustainable Partnership (CSP) will begin to secure grants, sponsorships and funding sources to make the show a reality.
