April 25, 2011 - PRLog -- What is Chisenbop?

Chisenbop is a simple abacus-like finger counting method. It’s a great tool to count quickly on your fingers.

Your right hand represents the single digits. Each finger on your right hand is a value of 1 except for the thumb, which has a value of 5.

Your left hand represents the double digits. Each finger on your left hand is a value of 10 except for the thumb, which has a value of 50.

How to count with Chisenbop

To count between 1 and 99 with traditional Chisenbop, press your fingers on a surface to indicate a value. For example, press only your right index finger on the surface, and the total value is 1. Press all 10 of your fingers on the surface, and the total value is 99.

Have fun counting!
