CopperBridge Media and Afri-Tech collaborate to bring digital marketing to Africa.
CopperBridge Media and Afri-Tech have partnered to bring the best global practices in the field of digital marketing to the continent of Africa- a four day summit on ‘Internet and Digital Marketing’ is being organized in Nairobi in June, 2011.
The Afri-Tech summit on ‘Digital and Internet Marketing’ is most appropriately timed considering the resurgence of Africa as one of the most untapped business destinations in the current economic world order. According to a Harvard Business Review – “The median profit margin for 1,869 businesses surveyed in sub-Saharan Africa was 11% (based on World Bank data) - better than comparable figures for Asia and South America.”
Demographically, the African continent represents the fastest expanding marketplace. Its 600 million people are growing at an average annual rate of 3 percent, compared to 0.5 percent in developed countries. This historic summit will create new channels of collaboration between the African busi-ness owners and the global business hot-spots. In addition to providing unprecedented business opportunities for the African entrepreneurs and domestic business giants, Afri-Tech Nairobi 2011 will act as a catalyst towards a self-sustaining digital culture in the region.
Bernard Sanganza, CEO of Afri-Tech is extremely upbeat about the series of summits that is being planned by CopperBridge Media and Afri-Tech and says, ”Afri-Tech Nairobi 2011 is a first and decisive step towards creating a digital bridge between Africa and the rest of the world”. Afri-Tech pursues its agenda for social development with a fierce commitment. As part of this conference, the final day will be reserved for children. More than 5000 children are expected to visit the conference and imbibe the knowledge about Internet and related digital technologies from the gurus themselves. This meeting of the ‘future of Africa’ and the ‘Shapers of Africa’ is conceived to bring about a technological as well as social transformation.
Africa is often referred to as ‘Investor’
For Sponsors and participants, Nairobi summit will act as a launching pad for their next phase of growth and collaboration.
