Local Lawn Care Retailer, Seed Planters Supply, Announces Green Grass Giveaway

April 22, 2011 - PRLog -- As summer approaches, so do backyard parties, the sounds of kids playing outside, and the natural inclination to lounge in the yard on the weekends. For many people, these are traditional activities, but for those who have un-kept lawns, these social gatherings may be uncomfortable. To help one lucky homeowner improve their lawn, Seed Planters Supply is hosting the Green Grass Giveaway.

A local lawn care provider, Seed Planters Supply has been helping residents of the community improve their property for over 10 years. Highly knowledgeable about regional grass blends and fertilizers, Seed Planters Supply is devoted to both keeping the Carolinas beautiful and protecting their fragile environment. In an effort to continue making a positive impact, Gary Sorensen, owner of Seed Planters Supply, has designed the Green Grass Giveaway, which will award one lucky winner with the resources necessary to improve their lawn. Individuals in the community are encouraged to answer the question "Do you have the ugliest lawn?" by submitting pictures of yards that are in need of care. Submissions are to be made on the Seed Planters Supply Facebook page, which is called "Seed Planters Supply & Equipment," and should be submitted by May 15, 2011. Once all submissions are received, Facebook fans will be able to vote on the ugliest lawn, and the winner will receive the necessary resources to bring their yard back to life.  

"We are very excited about this giveaway," commented Sorensen. "Seed Planters Supply has been an important part of the community for over a decade and we are all thankful for the support that the residents of the area have shown. The Green Grass Giveaway is our way of saying thank you and of showing our gratitude to the community members that have helped us build our business."

All members of the Huntersville, Charlotte, Cornelius, Denver, and Concord communities are eligible to enter. Entrants must first "like" the Seed Planters Supply Facebook page and then upload their picture. Voting will be conducted on the Facebook page, with the picture receiving
the highest number of "likes" winning the prize. Entrants are encouraged to recruit their families and friends to "like" the page and vote for their yards.
