ISSIG Requests Orthus Update Membership on U.K. Data Protection Act

April 21, 2011 - PRLog -- The Information Security Special Interest Group (ISSG) asked Orthus Limited to present at their meeting in May.

In response to a dramatic rise in data breaches and fines over the last year, the ISSIG asked Orthus to explain principles and practices of the DPA to their members to ensure they understand what constitutes compliance to this critical legislation.

Orthus will also detail the common denominator associated with all data breaches experienced over the last year and what businesses can do to thwart attackers at the ISSIG Meeting held at the Missenden Abbey Conference Centre in Great Missenden Bucks on Wednesday May 11, 2011.
