Radisson Blu Hotel Cairo Heliopolis supported the Earth Hour

April 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Earth Hour is a global event organized by World Wild Fund for Nature and held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking every individual, business and community to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.
A large number of the hotel team helped out to “switch off” power in most of the hotel areas, also most of the guests joined in by switching off their room lights. Some guests enjoyed their dinner at the Italian cuisine Filini with a candle lit and soft music in the background and at Mix was spectacularly lit by a candle light buffet from 8.30pm during Earth Hour.
