Now with outstanding production quality and speed, Digital Frontier plans to expand into global CG market.

Digital Frontier is a motion picture company in Tokyo specializing in full CG production. Its motion capture studio “OPAKIS” underwent a renovation last year to install 100 T-160 cameras and to expand its capture space. Staffs received direct training from Hollywood studio House of Moves to apply practical recording methods used in the US. OPAKIS has Studio 1 for performance capture and Studio 2 for simultaneous facial and sound recording.

With its new facility, recording area has expanded and tracking marker size decreased to half the original size. This results fewer marker data loss so actors can move freely without limitations. Data delivery is now made 30% faster than before.
