Wedil David just wrapped filming for Garry Marshall's new film “New Years Eve”

April 20, 2011 - PRLog -- We first saw Wedil play the character of Rekha (Rani's Mom) in Valentine's Day. This time around, we shall see Wedil in the role of "Christina Davis" playing opposite two time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank.

Garry Marshall's latest project is a follow up to the immensely successful film Valentine's Day and stars some of the biggest names in Hollywood including Robert DeNiro, Halle Berry, Josh Duhamel and Michelle Pfeiffer.

The movie tells intertwining stories of a group of New Yorkers as they navigate their way through bittersweet drama and romance over the course of New Year's Eve.  Already a buzz in Hollywood as the next blockbuster by Mr. Marshall, this movie promises to deliver with an unprecedented A-List cast including Jessica Biel, Katherine Heigl, Abigail Breslin, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ashton Kutcher, Sofia Vergara, Jon Bon Jovi and Zac Efron among many others.

She was born in New Delhi, India and moved to the states when she was seven.  She is an animal rights activist and does numerous charities on behalf of her love for animals.  She is also working with several homeless shelters so that we can bring awareness to the problem of so many homeless people in the United States.   Wedil is a woman who is not just focused on her career but also in helping the world any way she can.
