Nominations for first ever INAA.com Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards 2011 close on the 20th of May

April 20, 2011 - PRLog -- The dazzling debut event will celebrate the talents within the thriving Scottish hair and beauty industry in an exciting evening of glamour and glitz on 16th June 2011 at the Marriot Hotel, Glasgow.

The elegant event will provide a platform to acknowledge hair stylists, salons, spas and beauticians all across Scotland in a celebration that promises to be as glamorous as the individuals and businesses it’s acknowledging.

The UK hair and beauty industry is worth billions, clearly showing that the desire to look good is something that just doesn’t go out of vogue. Indeed, the hair industry alone in Scotland has around 3,500 businesses that have a combined, annual turnover of £500 million .

With such hair-raising figures, it seems like it’s the apt time to recognise Scotland’s considerable contribution to this enormous industry.

Beautician of the year (Inc. Beauticians specializing in male and female Hair Grooming, Tanning, Skin Exfoliating, Facials, Massages etc)
Make up specialist of the year
Nail technician of the year (Inc. Manicurists, Pedicurists, Professional Nail Artists etc.)
Cosmetic therapist of the year
Spa of the year
Junior stylist of the year (Stylists with less than two year experience)
Colour technician of the year
Men’s stylist of the year
Women’s stylist of the year
Hair salon of the year
Salon Design of the Year
Lifetime achievement award

So, whether it’s a hair stylist that’s transformed your barnet from lank to lustrous, a beautician that’s made you look and feel like a movie star, a salon that consistently provides an exceptional service, a talented newcomer to the industry or indeed somebody that’s dedicated their entire life to it – it’s time to let them know their work doesn’t go unnoticed.
