2011 Prometheus Group eGames Set For Thursday, April 21

23 Finalists to compete for medals and prizes totaling $30,000; Event sponsors include The Huang Family Foundation, Andy and Jane Albright, and Lenovo
 
April 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Raleigh, NC -  The 2011 Prometheus Group eGames is set for this Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 4pm at the McKimmon Center at NC State located at 1101 Gorman Street, Raleigh.  NC State University Entrepreneurship Initiative (EI) will be hosting the 3rd annual eGames, which are a celebration of the spirit of student entrepreneurship across all colleges and disciplines at NC State. The 23 finalists range from DiscoverLit, where the aim to encourage literacy in students by reinventing interaction with the written word, to Greensleeves, which is an innovative design group targeting some of society’s toughest problems, looking to make the world a better place.  This event is free and open to the public.  

The event begins with a showcase expo of eGames participants and entrepreneurial partners followed by the Entrepreneurs Lecture Series (ELS) and Prometheus Group eGames Awards, Networking & Reception.  During the expo, a Telsa Roadster, which ranks amongst the world's most coveted sports cars, will be on display and a Tesla Motors representative will be present to talk about the car. Currently, over 1,500 Roadsters drive emissions-free in more than 30 countries.
