MediPurpose Announces Japan Trademark Protection for SurgiLance Safety Lancet

The medical device company was recently notified that the World Intellectual Property Organization received a Statement of Grant of Protection from the Japan Patent Office, which protects the SurgiLance(r) mark in Japan.

The fingerstick's trademark is already registered in the United States, the European Union, and Singapore.

Along with its trademark for SurgiLance(r), MediPurpose had previously been granted international trademarks for its babyLance(r) infant heel incision device. International trademark protection for its MediPlus(tm) advanced wound care product line is currently pending.
