Cloud Messaging Provider, Linxter, to Present at Cloud Connections Conference 2011

Linxter CEO Jason Milgram to present on building casual games in Windows Azure, and the benefits of evolving traditional client/server business apps to a client/cloud model.
April 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Cooper City, FL — Linxter, Inc., provider of message-oriented cloud middleware, today announced its participation in the Cloud Connections Conference taking place April 17-21 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. At the conference, Linxter Founder and CEO Jason Milgram will be running an all-day Windows Azure Boot Camp. In addition, Milgram will also present on “Casual Gaming” and “Moving from Client/Server to Client/Cloud.”

Attendees of the Windows Azure Boot Camp are encouraged to bring their laptops and Azure questions and join Milgram for a grounded cloud conversation. Participants will leave the all-day event with a solid understanding of the business and technical benefits of Azure, and gain hands-on development and deployment experience.

“Cloud and mobile computing are fundamentally transforming the marketplace,” stated Milgram. “Mobile apps are beginning to replace websites, as consumers seek the most efficient way to access information, and the cloud is the back-end of choice for these apps.”

In Milgram’s “Casual Gaming” session, he will examine the architecture of one example of a casual gaming cloud app and review the common event logic used. Milgram will discuss the concepts of in-app purchasing and in-app advertising, and ways businesses can capitalize on these break-time diversions. The “Moving from Client/Server to Client/Cloud” session will outline a strategy for how moving client/server products to a client/cloud model allow software businesses to grow their customer base and increase revenue.

The Cloud Connections conference (http://cloudconnections.com) brings together business decision makers, IT managers and directors, and developers to explore cloud computing services and products, deepen technical skills, and determine best practices solutions for implementing private or public cloud infrastructure and services.

“Next generation computing continues to become omnipresent with the increased sophistication of the cloud, mobile, and virtualization,” says David Smith, Cloud/Mobile Market Leader at Penton Media, host of the Connections Conference. “We're bringing together some of the brightest minds in each field to discuss the intersection of these industries, as well as providing practical instruction and strategic planning to stay ahead of the curve.”
