The HF is equipped with a 1.8-liter i-VTEC engine and earns up to 41 mpg highway.
The Civic Sedan, Civic Coupe and Civic GX Natural Gas models also get an increased fuel efficiency compared to the current models available with the Sedan and Coupe estimated at 39 mpg highway. The natural gas model is estimated to earn 7 percent higher mpg than the current GX model. The sportier Si versions are powered by a 2.4L engine that may deliver up to 200 horsepower with 170 lb-ft of torque while still getting up to 31 mpg highway.
