Cocentric Proves A Perfect Fit For Corporate Clothing Company
Entrepreneur Lee Says Triangle's New Software Puts His Entire Business At His Fingertips
But the software products he tried were either too expensive, too complicated or had little relevance to a small enterprise like his.
“Then I was reading my local paper and saw an article about a local software company that had developed a new hosted software called Cocentric which was specifically for small to medium sized businesses just like mine,” said Lee speaking from the offices of his company, Lee James of Wilmslow, Cheshire.
“I went onto their website, downloaded a trial version of Cocentric software and hey presto, I was up and running. It was simple, straightforward, easy to use and incredibly effective at keeping my entire operation at my fingertips – and now it’s saving me time and money and helps me achieve my low carbon footprint goals.”
Lee, who lives in Wilmslow, was struck by how the software slotted into his operation which provides everything from bespoke business wear to staff uniforms for a variety of clients across the UK.
He was particularly impressed that the package handled everything from sales and purchasing to stock-keeping and could even measure the profitability of each job.
“I remember trying one corporate clothing software package that had a big section covering my business warehouses. But my eco friendly business model does not include warehousing so it was completely irrelevant. It was also much more expensive than Cocentric.
“What really blew me over was the hands-on help Cocentric gave me in learning how to use the new software,” added Lee. “The MD himself paid a visit and spent some considerable time with us. And for that there was no charge.
“It was incredible when you consider one firm I know charges £1,000 per day for software training.”
Mr Tim Thomas-Peter, MD of Triangle Software, the company which created Cocentric said: “I am delighted Lee is finding our new business software package is working for him, but to be honest I’m not surprised.
“Lee’s business is typical of those small-to-medium sized enterprises who most need effective business software but who are least likely to be able to afford bespoke packages,” added Tim speaking from his HQ at Lower Withington near Macclesfield.
“That’s why my company used the know-how we gained from years creating software for the corporate market to develop a highly sophisticated but extremely affordable package for SMEs.”
