Olympic Revitalize MindManager Enthusiasts Network

April 12, 2011 - PRLog -- The MindMappers Ning network, also known as the MindManager Enthusiasts Network, recently changed ownership and is now under the direction and management of Olympic Limited, a leading provider of Visual Information Management software solutions based in the UK.

The network, started in 2007, brought together users of the popular Mind Mapping software Mindjet MindManager, providing a place where users could discuss and share knowledge and product experiences. Olympic negotiated a transfer of ownership of the network in March 2011 with the intention of breathing new life into the community that had grown and creating a much broader appeal to attract new members thereby increasing the value of the knowledge and content the network can offer members.

Nigel Goult, CEO of Olympic, said "We had been thinking about starting a community of Visual Information Management users for some time and were very fortunate that the opportunity to take ownership of the network arose as it provided us with a jump start and good foundation on which to build. The network has a good growing number of members, some of whom are leading voices in the world of Visual Information Management and it has the potential to become a much larger and diverse community but to achieve this we need to open the network up to accept a wider section of users and not limit its membership and focus to one type of product user. The number of products available that are similar in offering the core features that MindManager offers has grown considerably in the last 4 years and it would be unwise to not recognise that these other Visual Information Management users have knowledge and experience which will benefit all community members irrespective of the software application they use. The network is now fully open and undergoing a re-branding program to position it as a major community for anyone interested in Visual Information Management of all types."

Olympic plan to re-brand and increase content within the network over the course of the year with new content sections and integration to help community members engage with each other and share information and knowledge.

The network is currently private with moderated membership but will become public on April 18th where anyone will be able to view network content but only members will be allowed to post discussions and comment.
