Questions are answered by a panel of experts consisting of Solicitors, Barristers and other legal professionals
“Our proposition is simple,” says James Mather, co-founder and Legal Services Director. “People pay what they can afford for legal advice”, he says. “The effects of the Government cuts will be profound. We are seeing Citizens Advice Bureaux closing, law centres disappearing and Legal Aid provision shrinking. By opening up an affiliate program we are giving commercial organisations, social enterprises and affinity groups the opportunity to provide their customers, members or employees with affordable legal advice, whilst also contributing to their own running costs.”
However, the affiliate program is open to anyone who wants to refer their customers to Expert Answers. “We have tried to keep it as simple as possible”, says Lloyd Barrett, co-founder and Technical Director. “You simply register on our website, copy a banner or button of your choice and place it on your website: you are immediately part of our program. When you refer customers to our site you will earn a percentage of the fee paid by the user for the answer to their question.”
The UK is seeing a shakeup in the way legal services are being provided. More and more people are looking for on-line for answers to their legal questions. With more lawyers than policemen and most people unable to afford or access legal advice something needs doing.
