Local restaurateurs expand with design help from Partners & Sirny

April 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Building on the success of their previous efforts, these local restaurateurs are expanding to new locations and, for some, are breaking into new markets. Here are some of the highlights:
Construction is now underway at 4400 78th Street in Bloomington, MN for Blue Point Restaurant’s second location. This new restaurant will feature what BluePoint is known for, their high quality and extensive seafood menu, but in a more contemporary atmosphere than the original Wayzata location. BluePoint in Bloomington plans to open in June 2011. The 7000 SF restaurant will seat 220 persons. http://www.bluepointrestaurantandbar.com/

From Jim and Sherry Heyer, partners of Doolittles Woodfire Grill in Fargo, ND and Porter Creek Hardwood Grill in Burnsville, MN, comes a newly improved Buffalo City Grille. The Heyers are bringing their experience with the success of Doolittles and Porter Creek to their hometown of Jamestown, ND. The new concept will cater to the small town atmosphere of Jamestown, while adding a touch of contemporary sophistication.

The former Hollywood Video store at 2112 Hennepin Avenue in Uptown is now under construction. The Shapiro family (Rhesa Shapiro, Dr. Ralph Shapiro and Matt Shapiro), owners of the building, hired Partners & Sirny to prepare the building for their new tenant, the Blue Plate Restaurant Company. The Blue Plate folks will be opening a signature restaurant in the newly remodeled building.
