Charity Raffle for Public School Projects at Jan’s Paperbacks

April 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Beaverton and Aloha Oregon………..Jan’s Paperbacks is hosting its 3rd annual charity raffle, April 18th – May 14th, to benefit donorschoose.com.  

While attending the 2011 RT BookLovers Convention in Los Angeles, California the girls from Jan’s Paperbacks will be receiving tons of goodies from many different authors and publishers.  Upon their return home, the goodies will be combined into raffle prizes for Jan’s customers to enter to win.  Prizes will include signed books and book bags, food treats and other author items.  All prizes will be on display April 22nd, but for a sneak peek, follow the daily blog from the convention where the girls will mention the items they will be bringing home.  Raffle tickets will be $1 and will go on sale April 18th and end May 14th when the winners will be chosen during the Book Breeze launch party that will be held at Jan’s Paperbacks.

donorschoose.com is an online charity connecting classrooms in need.  Public teachers post their classroom projects in need of funds and contributors go online and submit donations to the project, classroom and community that they choose.  Jan’s will contribute 100% of the money earned from the raffle to classroom projects in the Washington County area.  Our goal is to fund as many projects as possible.
