April 11, 2011 - PRLog -- The roots for hip hop started in New York in the late 1970s at house parties and block parties, DJs would play popular soul, funk, or R&B music, emphasizing "breaks". Pioneers Like: Kool Herc and the Herculoids, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Afrikaa Bambaataa's Universal Zulu Nation and Sugar Hill Gang lead the way, bringing forth other Rap artists such as Curtis Blow, The Fat Boys, Run DMC and LL Cool J. to more controversial rap groups like Public Enemy and N.W.A.

Today Rap music is 40+ years old and the fans of rap music that followed the early  Pioneers are now in their Late 40's and early 50's. These fans have witness rap music evolve and grow but the maturity of rap music has flat-lined and there seems to be no real mental growth in the messages it once conveyed.

Delanor Productions out of Los Angels Ca. has introduced Hip Hop's Damage Control with their new cd entitled "The Soul Repair Kit" Produced by Robert Bassett Jr.

The Soul Repair Kit is Hip Hop grown up. This new cd speaks to the hearts and ears of every early Hip Hop fan with Jazz and Be-bop fused together to create the beats and sound that we come to expect from Hip Hop in it 40's. Along with positive messages that uplift the mind body and spirit. This CD  will take you on a ride through a hip hop present that will have you pumping the beat from your iPod as if you were back on the block.
