Video-Interfaces for Sony Block-Cameras FCB-H11 and FCB-EH4300

April 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Forstinning near Munich – AIVION manufacturer of converter, interfaces and HDTV cameras, announces an additional DVI interface for the Sony camera types FCB-H10 and FCB- H11.

DVI-Format:
Via the compact Thunder Link 1515 module with DVI Interface, HD video - and common PC monitors, which are up to 10 meter away from the source, can be connected.
1080i, 1080p and 720p with 50 Hz and 59.94 Hz formats are supported. Progressive or interlace output for 1080 standards is selectable.
The advanced image processing feature box allows color management. The full digital signal processing chain for best image quality is like for all other interfaces, also implemented for the DVI interface.
An additional analog HDTV YPrPb output is available through the analog pin of the DVI-I connector.

Dual-Format:
The small form factor TL 6020 enables to connect 2 cameras and converts the LVDS signals into the digital HD-SDI - with the 1080i or 720p and the frequencies 59.9 or 50Hz and/or the analog YsPBPr/RGB format.  The unique characteristic of this interface is the picture in picture (PIP) functionality.  Via the serial interface 2 cameras can be controlled separately and displayed on a screen. Camera 1 e.g. captures the overview and camera 2 operates with optical zoom providing a detailed view on any region of interest.  The PIP size is selectable 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 of the full picture. The full digital signal processing chain ensures the best image quality.

HDMI and/or HD-SDI Format:
The small form factor TL 6050 interface converts the LVDS camera signal into HDMI and/or HD-SDI format. 1080i, 1080p and 720p standards are supported.
The integrated deinterlacer provides the 1080p format for the frequencies 50/59.94 Hz and 60 Hz at the HDMI output port.
The native digital signal processing chain ensures the best image quality (no scaling).

The control of these cameras takes place by the selectable serial control interface.
