TriTech SBDC to Sponsor Workshop on How to Win SBIR/STTR Grant Funds

Entrepreneurs and businesses looking to capitalize on the $1 billion in available Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer Research (STTR) funds will learn how to successfully make an SBIR/STTR proposal.

April 7, 2011 - PRLog -- IRVINE, Calif. -- Entrepreneurs and businesses looking to capitalize on the $1 billion in available Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer Research (STTR) funds will receive expert training on how to successfully make an SBIR/STTR proposal at a TriTech Small Business Development Center Workshop on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 9:00AM to 3:00PM at Crowell and Moring, 3 Park Plaza 20th FL, Irvine, CA 92614.

The workshop will be facilitated by Marie Talnack who has worked with over 300 new technologies in electronics, bio-medical, pharmaceutical, computer hardware and software, environmental science, and written over 500 technical proposals and strategic plans. Topics covered during the workshop include effectively submitting proposals to the appropriate agency, identifying technologies that the government is interested in, preparing a proposal, and planning success with SBIR or STTR funding. TriTech will also offer follow up sessions on how best to navigate through the SBIR post award process
